Im having a hard time being thankful today. My best friend was supposed to come to town and stay the weekend with us to celebrate Alayah's birthday. I've been looking forward to this weekend since last summer. I really needed my friend to be here, but she couldn't make it because there was a snow storm that closed the road. I am beyond bummed out. Her daughter was the only one coming to the party and now Alayah isn't going to get to have a "party" like she wanted. She has been begging for a friend to play with for so long and she was really looking forward to having one here. I am thankful my friend is safe and sound even if she isn't celebrating here with us.
