Alayah actually slept in this morning. We had to finally wake her up around 9:30 so we could get the show on the road lol. She got semi-embarrassed when she came downstairs because there was three of us holding cameras and video cameras. She headed straight for the chair and covered her face. We told her Santa came and she slowly sat up and looked around.
She was so excited and quickly started unwrapping things. She was very methodical in her opening. She made sure every last bit of wrapping paper was off her gift before giving any oohs or ahhs about the toy. She cracked me up. If any of us said anything before it was fully unwrapped she would tell us to "Shhh."
She didn't waste any time and went quickly from one gift to the next.
This was the aftermath....I think all in all she had a good day. After presents we went out to eat and then came home so she could play with her loot.
Christmas is so much better now that I have her. She makes everything worthwhile.
