Well we had another successful night of her sleeping in her bed. This picture makes me laugh that she and her baby are both sleeping the same way.  She has been crying at night saying there is a "monstah" in her room that is trying to get her eyes. I feel bad for her and I want to just let her sleep in my room, but I'm trying not to give in. I just comfort her and let her know that I won't let any monsters get her.

Another Sunday Come and Gone

Alayah took one of her makers outside with her today and I didn't think much of it, until I went outside and discovered this. Good thing it washed off otherwise Nana would have lost her lid lol

I am trying to get Alayah to sleep in her own room. She is 2.5 and still sleeps in my bed every night. She is not too thrilled with sleeping in her own room. I kind of miss her in my bed, but I also enjoy free reign of my bed

Alayah the Gardner

she loves going for bike rides
making dirt
filling her little pots with dirt
Alayah wanted to go for a bike ride today, but my bike tire was flat. We decided to plant her tomato plants that her grandma sent her in the mail. She sent this little Elmo gardening bag with little gardening tools and seeds. She made the dirt and filled the pots all by herself. She thought it was pretty fun and wanted me to know that she did it "All herself"

Since I haven't been working I forget what day of the week it is. They all seem to run together. I went out with a friend to a movie tonight, so I left Alayah with the babysitter. She was tired on the way home, but I remembered I hadn't taken a picture so this is the snapshot I got lol

Tumbling Week 29

Practicing her flapjacks

practicing her bridge
Today was her last tumbling class until we move and I find her a new gym. I was kind of sad about it. She has learned to do so many new things even though she never did get the hang of sitting still and waiting her turn. She did good for the most part today and did participate in all the activities. I hope she will accomplish more when we find a new gym

Going on a hike

shy girl
posing on the rocks
she bites her lips a lot
i like this one
I took Alayah on the mountain today to take pictures. We took a little hike and looked at bugs and played in the creek. She had a lot of fun, but was scared of the bugs. She wouldn't walk during some parts of our hike because she was afraid that bugs were going to get her.

Moment in Time Monday

helping Nana mop
waiting outside for her daddy to pick her up
Alayah's dad decided he wanted to see her today, so I got her ready to spend some time with him. He only kept her for a couple of hours and she seemed to enjoy her time with him. She was glad to be back with me which makes me happy.

Tumbling Week 28

Alayah had a friend over today and they loved playing dress up. Tumbling didn't go so well tonight because Alayah's friend joined us and was too shy to participate so Alayah didn't want to participate. She only has one class left so I hope next week goes better

Moment in Time Tuesday

This girl is serious about her cartoon watching. She picked out her outfit today too.
Alayah woke up with croup this morning too....I hate that she gets it so much and she always gets it right after we get home from out of town

Heading Home

We woke up this morning and went back to town square to find somwhere to eat breakfast and to also let Alayah ride on the stagecoach that gives rides around the square. She was in heaven. She kept sticking her little head out the window to see the horses up front. She thought it was just the coolest thing in the world.

I love her little dimple :)
When we made it back to Pinedale I took Alayah down to the creek and took pictures. She had lots of fun running around.
I was a little bummed because by the time we got back to town a thunderstorm was moving in. I also wanted to take her back to the lake, but we didn't get to do that because it was too cold and windy.
I remember this bridge from when I was little. The sounds and smells brought back lots of memories for me.
Last but not least we stopped by to say goodbye to grandpa or her great grandpa. I wish he could have met her. He would of loved her no doubt. I also wish I remembered more about him. I was 8 when he passed away and I can't for the life of me jog very many memories of him.

Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park

Alayah in Jackson Hole Wy right after lunch behind her is the National Elk refuge
We woke up this morning and decided to take a last minute trip to Yellowstone since it is only a few hours away. The only problem is that I only packed one spare shirt and only the pants I was wearing yesterday because I thought we were only going to be gone one night. Oh, well I guess lol
We went to Old Faithful Geyser and that is the only picture I was able to get because Alayah was not having it. She was overly tired and cranky and since Old Faithful isn't as faithful as it used to be we stood there waiting for 30 minutes waiting which Alayah was not fond of either. Especially, when people left and right had ice cream.
This is a picture of the Teton Mountains
We headed back to Jackson Hole to eat dinner and stay the night. Alayah saw this horse statue and decided she needed a picture taken with it.
Alayah posing by the Antler Arcs in town square
We ate at a restaurant that had outside seating so that Alayah could run around and not disturb people. Although I didn't enjoy myself because I saw a huge spider and I am deathly afraid of them. ughh...all I could do the whole time was try not to have a panic attack and keep my eye on it to make sure it didn't get me lol. I also saw a mouse run under someone elses table. ick lol
It was a fun day and an awful lot of driving so bedtime is looking great tonight :)
Here is a video of Alayah enjoying(or not enjoying) Old Faithful.

Mini Vacation

We left town today to go to Pinedale, WY. It is a teeny tiny little town near Yellowstone National Park. My grandmother is from there and she wanted to go visit her husbands grave and add some new flowers. Since she can't drive long distances Alayah and I volunteered to take her. We stopped somewhere for lunch and Alayah wanted to get a toy out of the "claw" machine. I have never managed to win anything using one of those, so I told her not to get her hopes up lol. I actually won her an animal. I was so happy because the first time I won was for my baby girl. She is in love with her "horsey/pony" although I think it is actually a zebra lol
Once we got to Pinedale we headed up to Fremont Lake to stretch our legs. Alayah is afraid of large bodies of water. I think its the waves, but this time she did wonderful. She actually played in the water and ran around.
Alayah at the lake enjoing it and Alayah at the beach really hating it lol
I was so happy to see her enjoy the lake and she wanted to stay and play when it was time to go

Fun with Alayah

I was bored so I got Alayah dressed up and tried to take some pictures of her. She is looking so grown up. I miss my little baby.
After pictures we met some friends at the park and played for awhile. Alayah loves to play at the park. She is so funny because she will talk to herself....or maybe its an imaginary friend that she talks to. I just like listening to her have little conversations to the air. After the park we went back to the library and she had fun playing dress up and playing with a pretend keyboard. She wasn't too into picking out any books this time though.
