6 months

Where has my sweet still baby gone? You are all over the place now. You try to sit yourself up all the time. At night you've started to turn on your side and sometimes you end up on your tummy. You are fitting pretty good in size six month clothes and a size 1 shoe. You are officially in size 3 diapers and I had to raise the straps on your car seat. You still cry every time I leave the room or the house without you. You love having a binky and a blanket to sleep with. You are up to 14 pounds and 25 inches long. The doctor says you are not gaining enough weight so we need to figure out how to get more food in your belly. You are only a fan of baby food with Apple's, bananas, or pears....meat and veggies are a no go for you lol

5 months

I can't believe you are already five months old. You are getting so big and strong.  You mastered rolling over from your back to your front at the beginning of the month. You have only rolled over from your front to back one time on September 29th. You are waking up several times during the night now. I got you a jumperoo and you love being able to stand up and bounce. You weigh 13.5 pounds and are in 3-6 months clothes. You are about to outgrow size 2 diapers. You still love your mama and scream bloody murder whenever I leave the room. You think Amarah is the funniest person around. You love whatever she does and bust out laughing. Other than that you are a very quiet girl. Mommy gave you baby food this month. We started with rice cereal and then banana, Apple's,and pears. You aren't too sure about the bananas but you loved the apples and pears. You are practicing sitting up and are getting pretty good. You still hate being in the car seat.

Week 15

Ayanah has discovered her legs and grabs her pants and holds onto them. She is getting so close to grabbing her feet. She has also started screaming out loud when she is trying to talk...Its pretty cute. She is really close to rolling over but can't quite get there yet. I've left her a couple of times to go work, but it is hit or miss with how well she does. She is in size 2 diapers and just now starting to fit into some of her smallest pairs of shoes. She loves playing on her playmat and usually falls asleep there and she has started to not like her swing. She also scoots her butt out of things when she is mad or doesn't want to be sitting in them.

Week 14

Ayanah is now 11lbs 10oz and 23.5 in with a 38.5cm head. She just started in size 2 diapers at the end of the week and is out growing some of her 0-3 month clothes. She sleeps from around 8-10pm until 4:30 or 5 in the morning. She is an awesome sleeper. She is doing really good with her tummy time and is really loving her hands. She always has them in her mouth and she really loves wearing dresses because she can grab the ends and pull them up into her mouth. She still hasn't rolled over yet, but she is getting close. She has discovered her voice this week and has been experimenting with low coos and talking back when I say something to her.

Week 13

Ayanah has started rolling to her right side when on her back....she hasn't rolled over yet she just tips to the side when she is playing on her playmat. She has also started laughing a little bit this week too. She chuckles a few times and it is so cute...she doesn't do it long enough to catch on video but I am hoping she will get the hang of it better soon.
Amarah has been practicing with her potty training and is doing very well. Hopefully, she will be potty trained soon. She is loving her dance classes and is so excited to see all of her friends.
Alayah goes back to school tomorrow and she isn't very thrilled about it, but I hope she can make the most of it and have a great time.

Week 12

Ayanah has discovered her hands and they are always in her mouth. She would rather suck on her hands than suck on her pacifier. She is also really starting to drool. She has for the most part been pretty laid back, but she is starting to realize if she cries I will come get her so she has been a little more needy lately. The smiles are abundant nowadays and she is starting to chuckle occasionally. I am excited to hear her laugh for the first time.

We went to Alayah's back to school night and met her new first grade teacher Mrs. Loomis. I am glad Alayah is excited to go back...hopefully, that excitement is long lived :)

Amarah has gone almost one week without her pacifier and so far we are doing pretty good, but she wakes up a lot at night asking for it. It's funny now that she doesn't have her momo she no longer seems too attached to her blanket and the tag that is on it. She doesn't even ask for it.

Alayah learned how to ride her bike today. I am so proud of her and she is so proud of herself. She has only practiced a handful of times and today it clicked. Today is also the day that I decided to take away Amarah's pacifiers. She misplaced all of them so I decided to today would be as good a day as any. Hopefully, this goes well. :)

Week 11

Ayanah has really started smiling this week. I was starting to get worried, but she loves when I give her kisses and she just lights up and I can get lots of smiles from her. She is still in size one diapers and wearing size 0-3 month clothing, although she has been wearing some just 3 months. She is also starting to fill in her newborn shoes. She is putting on some pounds and I am excited to see how much she weighs at her three month appointment.

10 Weeks

Ayanah has finally had her first conversation with me this week. She started cooing on Wednesday night after bathtime and seemed pretty proud of herself. Her smiles have also started immerging this week too. Usually, she only smiles when she is sleeping, but she has managed a couple of half smiles which get me very excited. She is still in size 1 diapers and is filling into size 3 month clothes. This week was kind of laid back which was nice since we just hung around the house all week. Since we were at home I had more one on one time with Ayanah which has now made her realize that if she cries I will hold her so she has been much more clingy.

Amarah Amarah....I am trying to work with her on potty training, but its hit or miss lately. Alayah has school starting again soon so I am enjoying having her around for the next two weeks before she is gone all day.

9 Weeks

We went to Ayanah's 2 month visit on Friday and she is now 10lbs and 22.25in with a 38cm head. She had to get two shots and she cried and cried all the way out to the car. My poor girl. She was pretty miserable the rest of the night and cried any time she moved her leg. I felt so bad for her. The other girls were very good at the appointment since I had to take them with me. We have to work more on tummy time since we haven't really done that yet and she can't really hold her head up very well. She is still a very easy baby and loves to sleep.

Week 8

On Friday we had Ayanah's two month pictures taken and I took Amarah too to see if maybe she would cooperate and get a couple taken since I have not had any luck with that since she turned two. Luckily she let the lady take a couple of picture which was great. On Thursday we took Ayanah out with us on our date day and enjoyed some time alone for a bit which was great. We went to a movie and she slept away the whole time. The older girls enjoyed some time with grandma. On Saturday grandma and papa took the older girls to the lake so we had another day of just Ayanah for a bit. I forgot how easy it is to have just one baby to worry about at a time. I'm definitely enjoying these little moments.

Week 7

We had a great time in Wyoming. We spent time with Nana and enjoyed some of the sights around town. We went for a hike on the mountain which was quite interesting. Amarah was scared of all the plants and bugs and Alayah really wanted to do some serious cliff climbing. Ayanah was content riding in mommy's wrap and slept through most of our hike. We enjoyed our time with friends and were sad to leave. The car ride home was a little rougher for Ayanah. She did not like being in the carseat and I don't blame her. We had to stop a few extra times just to let her out of her seat. We all glad to be back home at the end of the week. We played in the pool this weekend and Ayanah got to wear her swim suit for the first time, but the pool was too cold for her to get in. Alayah and Amarah loved getting to swim and Amarah ended up falling asleep at the table.
Ayanah woke up with her eyes crusted shut at the beginning of our trip and it now seems to be a daily experience. The doctor said she has clogged tear ducts, so hopefully they will clear up soon. We ended up coming home early from our trip because we all woke up sick and were feeling pretty crummy. Ayanah didn't get sick luckily, but I think she liked being back home in her own bed.

Week 6

Ayanah has outgrown her newborn diapers and is now in size one diapers. She can still wear newborn clothes, but has been wearing some 3 month clothes even though she drowns in them. We headed to Wyoming this week and made the long 13 hour drive. Ayanah did really well for being strapped in for so long. The older girls were entertained by the DVD player. We surprised Nana and enjoyed being able to go to church. Ayanah enjoyed the singing and Alayah enjoyed Sunday School class. Amarah was okay, but freaked out crying when I came back to get her. We went to the park afterward and enjoyed being able to play outside. It gets so hot in Vegas we can't do much outside. We went to the Fair and the girls enjoyed riding on the rides and seeing the farm animals. It is nice to be able to do things that I grew up doing, but everything is so different now it doesn't feel the same. I definitely do not miss living here.

Week 5

The fourth of July was kind of a bust this year. No one was home, so we were on our own for the day and everyone was grumpy so we just stayed around the house. We drove around and saw a few fireworks from a distance as this year Amarah is scared of them and Alayah isn't. Ayanah is One month old now and is still so tiny to me. She is 8lbs 6oz and 20.75in with a 36cm head. She is sleeping like a champ at night but sleeps so much during the day. She seems to only wake up to eat and then is right back to sleep. She is by far the easiest baby I've had yet. :) I am still trying to figure out how to balance all three kids especially Amarah and Ayanah because Amarah is such a mama's girl. Amarah is finally warming up to Ayanah and starting to enjoy holding her for longer than 2 seconds.
