4 Year Pix

I took Alayah to get her 4 year bday pictures taken today. I had to buy her outfit in the big girl section at Target and I was so sad. I hate that she is growing up so fast, but at the same time it is fun to see her grow and develop into her own little person. She was awesome at the appointment and did all her poses like she owned them. Afterward, we went to the food court and enjoyed a light lunch together with grandma.

My 3 year old

My baby girl turns four tomorrow. I can't believe four years have passed since she came into my life. So much has happened this year...some good some bad. Dear Alayah, You started this year off loving my little pony and all things horses and ended the year loving all things animals and batman. You love to watch Jurassic Park but are scared to watch Rapunzel. I haven't quite figured this fear out, but I love your quirky ways. You started preschool this year and have really come a long way in the last few months with learning your colors and counting.  You had surgery this year and you powered through it and were very brave even though you were so scared and didn't understand what was going on. You were wearing 3T's and 4T's at the beginning of the year and ended the year in 5T's and size six shirts. You have really grown and changed a lot this year. You found out you were going to be a big sister this year too. You are so excited and you are very serious about your role as a sister. You help me come up with checklists and you always stop and take a moment to kiss my belly and say Hi to your sister. You are an amazing little girl and I am so grateful I get to be your mommy. I want you to know that I will always love you and I hope you never change your spunky self for anyone. You are my favorite girl in the whole my world. :)
